Dr. Peter Buch is a clinical gastroenterologist with over 35 years of teaching experience, driven by a deep passion for education. His teaching approach is case-based, practical, interactive, and engaging, making learning both informative and enjoyable.

Dr. Buch serves as a Clinical Professor at the Eastern Connecticut Health Network branch of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Additionally, he holds faculty positions as an Associate Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine.

With extensive experience teaching diverse audiences—including practicing physicians, fellows, residents, medical students, nurses, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), and physician assistants (PAs)—Dr. Buch has been honored to present at numerous national conferences.

He is thrilled to return to the Orear Institute Conference, where he values the opportunity to interact with participants and foster a shared learning experience.
